Overview:

The Annapurna region in central Nepal offers some of the most scenic trails in the world. Owning to its geographical and cultural diversity, trekking here is a real treat. This area has sub-tropical lowlands, valleys, bamboo, oak and rhododendron forests, alpine meadows, windswept desert plateaus and the towering Mountains. The people of this region are an assortment of different ethnic groups though mostly dominated by Gurungs and Magars.

Itinerary

Itinerary: Annapurna Base Camp Trek


Day 1: Arrival at Kathmandu

Meet at the airport and transfer to the hotel.

Explore the vibrant city of Kathmandu.


Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing

Morning visit to Pashupatinath, the holiest Hindu temple.

Afternoon visit to Boudhanath, a sacred Buddhist stupa.

Explore the ancient city of Bhaktapur.


Day 3: Drive to Pokhara

Drive to Pokhara, a city with breathtaking views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.

Free time to stroll around Fewa Lake.


Day 4: Drive to Phedi, Trek to Tolka

Drive to Phedi and begin the trek to Tolka.

Trek through beautiful villages and landscapes.

Overnight stay in Tolka.


Day 5: Trek to Sinuwa

Trek from Tolka to Sinuwa, passing through Landruk and Jhinu Danda.

Experience stunning mountain vistas.

Overnight stay in Sinuwa.


Day 6: Trek to Deurali

Trek through a serene jungle to Himalaya from Dovan.

Experience the sacredness of the mountains.

Overnight stay in Deurali.


Day 7: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC)

Trek to Annapurna Base Camp via Machhapuchhre Base Camp.

Marvel at the panoramic views of Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Machhapuchhre, and more.

Overnight stay at ABC.


Day 8: Trek to Dovan - Bamboo

Enjoy the morning views at ABC.

Trek down to Dovan or Bamboo via MBC, Deurali, and Himalaya.

Overnight stay in Bamboo.


Day 9: Trek to Ghandruk

Trek through the jungle to Sinuwa and then descend to Chhomrung.

Walk to Ghandruk, a charming Gurung village.

Overnight stay in Ghandruk.


Day 10: Trek to Siwai, Drive to Pokhara

Trek to Siwai and drive to Pokhara.

Leisure time in Pokhara for relaxation.

Overnight stay in Pokhara.


Day 11: Fly to Kathmandu

Fly back to Kathmandu from Pokhara.

Rest of the day at leisure in Kathmandu.


Day 12: Departure

Transfer to the airport for onward departure.
