Participate in daily prayers conducted by La Woods Hotel staff on the fourth floor from 9:00 A.M to 9:30 A.M. This general prayer, consisting of mantras and praises from sithars and gurus, offers a spiritual start to your day. Learn the procedures for conducting daily family prayers and take home copies of mantras and poems for personal use.


PUJA:


Experience the sacred practice of Puja, where Hindu devotees perform rituals, invocations, prayers, and slokas to show reverence to deities. Puja establishes a spiritual connection between the devotee and the Almighty, showcasing respect and devotion.


COOKERY:

Enrich your culinary skills with complimentary cookery classes at our kitchen. Discover the secrets of Indian cooking, known for its health benefits. Learn to use scientifically researched ingredients that address various diseases, turning Indian food into a form of medicine. Our chefs teach you the art of cooking with ingredients such as ginger, coriander, black pepper, garlic, cumin powder, cardamom, turmeric powder, cinnamon, and more.

RESTORE, REBUILD, REJUVENATE:

Itinerary

Day 1:

Arrival in Chennai - Traditional welcome with garlands and transfer to La Woods Hotel Chennai. Overnight stay.


(Note: Throughout the entire tour, breakfast, lunch, and dinner (vegetarian) will be provided based on the guidance of the yoga teacher, dietitian, and therapist. Meals will include salads, juices, tea, and coffee.)


Day 2:

Morning Yoga Meditation class from 0600 – 0900.

Day tour for Mahabalipuram sightseeing. Drive for 2 hours from Chennai to explore the 800-year-old world heritage monuments in Mahabalipuram from 10:00 – 16:00. Return to Chennai. Evening Yoga Meditation practice for about one hour. Overnight stay.


Day 3:

Morning Yoga Meditation class from 0600 – 0900.

Observe and learn the energetic Indian home prayer method.

Day tour for Chennai city sightseeing from 10:00 – 14:00. Explore historical sites including Kabaleeswarar Temple, St Thomas Church, Marina Beach, Government Museum, Fort St George, High Court buildings, and Rippon Building.

Cooking class – Learn Indian food preparation from the hotel chef.

Steam bath and gentle oil massage with foot massage.

Evening Yoga Meditation practice for about one hour. Overnight stay.


Day 4:

Morning Yoga Meditation class from 0600 – 0700.

Drive from Chennai to Thiruvannamalai (4 hrs).

Visit the famous Arunachaleswarar Temple in Thiruvannamalai.

Evening Yoga Meditation practice for about one hour.

Mud therapy treatment and bath. Overnight stay.


Day 5:

Morning Yoga Meditation class from 0600 – 0900.

Day tour for Village visit, driving about 1 hour from Thiruvannamalai to explore a traditional old village from 10:00 – 16:00. Return for Yoga Meditation practice in the evening.

Optional activities based on guests' interest, such as visiting a village school, traditional houses, village temple, engaging in agricultural and gardening work.

Overnight stay.


Day 6:

Morning Yoga Meditation class from 0600 – 0900.

Gomatha prayer for prosperity and peace (Cow Prayer).

Visit Ashrams and Siddhar residences to explore their guidance and miracles.

Yoga Meditation practice in the evening.

Optional activities like bullock cart ride, cycling tours, auto ride, walking around the township, banana leaf therapy, and bath.

Overnight stay.


Day 7:

Morning Yoga Meditation class from 0600 – 0900.

Climb the hill of Thiruvannamalai to visit the caves where several Siddhars lived over the centuries.

Evening drive 4 hours back to Chennai from Thiruvannamalai for overnight stay.


Day 8:

Depending on return flight timing:

Morning Yoga Meditation class from 0600 – 0900.

Rest and relax during the day.

Fly back based on flight timing.
